About Us

We are a diverse, inclusive, and all-age community, seeking to follow Christ and serve the communities of this parish. Our main service at 9.30am on Sunday is Holy Communion with hymns, supported by the choir and with groups for young people on most term-time Sundays. Do see our website (www.parishofstmichaels.org.uk) for more details. Our churchmanship might be described as 'gently catholic', but people from a wide range of church backgrounds have found a home here.

Our building is an ancient parish church. The nave and chancel date back to the C10th and the site may be older. Some brass work and painting are medieval and there is a C17th statue of Francis Bacon.
