Easter Vigil

On Easter Eve at 8.30pm we gather to celebrate the resurrection, which happened during the hours of darkness before Easter morning. Starting around a fire outside, we light the Easter candle, go into church, hear Old Testament readings about salvation, recall our baptism, and share communion. The choir sings music by Haydn and Cecilia McDowall, and there will be celebratory fizz afterwards!

All Saints', Putney Common

We are a church in the 'liberal catholic' tradition of the Church of England, offering largely traditional worship in a friendly way. Our choir sings at many of our services, and we run groups for children and young people. We are an inclusive church that will give a warm welcome to everyone. We are part of the Parish of Putney, working closely with our sister church, St Mary's.
