The main Sunday worship at St Peter's is our sung 9:30am Eucharist with choir and Sunday School. There is usually a monthly BCP Choral Evensong - see church notices for details. Everyone is very welcome at St Peter's Berkhamsted - we welcome families, we welcome individuals, we welcome pilgrims, we welcome anyone who doesn’t feel terribly religious, we welcome anyone who is questioning. A fun-packed activity group for toddlers, with toys, games, craft activities, story time, juice and coffee/tea & biscuits - all for £1 per family. The group meets in the Court House (next to St Peter's Church) on Fridays 9.30am-11.15am (term-time only). On the first Friday in the month Little Fishes has a short children's service in St Peters Church at 10.00am. Do come and join us!

Sundays Together Lunches are a friendly social group for our older friends in the parish who may be on their own at a certain age. Luncheon is laid on every 1st Sunday of every month in the Court House, and the next one is on Sunday 3 November. Guests receive a welcome drink when they arrive, followed by two-course meal, all for a handsome £6. This is a very popular event, bringing members of the church and the community together every month through the delights of food. It’s a lovely way for people to socialise and helps to combat loneliness in our community.

All Souls Requiem Mass

We gather at 6pm to remember with thanksgiving loved ones who have passed from this life. The Church Choir will sing the glorious setting of the Requiem Mass by the French composer Maruice Duruflé (1902–1986). It is our tradition at St Peter’s to read out the names of the departed during the evening service. If you would like to include the name of someone you have lost, whether recently or many years ago, please write their name on the list at the back of church.
