All are welcome to our sung Eucharist when we commemorate the saints of the church

A traditional service of choral worship led by our church choir. Services are generally once a month, although dates may vary - check the St Peter's website for details.

At our All Souls service we remember those who have died – “those whom we love but see no longer”.
During the service there's an opportunity to light a candle in memory of someone you have lost, and we read out the names of the departed. Together, we give thanks to God for those who have passed from this life, to acknowledge our sorrow, and to express our hope in “the life of the world to come”.
If you are mourning a loved one – whether someone who has died recently or many years ago – this service offers a time for quiet remembering and reflection in a beautiful sacred space. Everyone is welcome here – it doesn’t matter if you don’t usually come to church.
If you plan to come to this service and you'd like to include the name of a loved one, write their name on the list inside St Peter's Church.
During the service, the choir will sing Gabriel Fauré's beautiful setting of the Requiem Mass.

Our community gathers to remember before God those who have died for their country in the two world wars and the many conflicts of the years that have followed, and to pray for peace in the world. All are welcome.

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."
- Laurence Binyon, For the Fallen (1914)

A short ceremony to mark Armistice Day at the Town War Memorial outside St Peter's on Berkhamsted High Street. All are welcome to pause and reflect for a two-minute silence.
