Music and Worship
St Peter’s bell ringers are a friendly group of all ages. New ringers are always welcome and full training is given. Bell practice is on Thursday evenings. We also have a younger group of school students learning the art of bell ringing as part of the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme - practice is on Friday afternoons.
St Peter’s is at the heart of Berkhamsted’s thriving cultural scene. Our programme of musical events includes lunchtime recitals, organ recitals and evening concerts featuring both local artists and international soloists.
Peter Collins organ built in 1986, includes a Zimbelstern stop
We have a thriving church choir of children and adults. The choir leads morning worship every Sunday at 9:30am, with Choral Evensong once a month. Repertoire includes works by Byrd, Palestrina, Howells, Vaughan Williams, Stanford. New singers of all ages always welcome!
