St John's, Radlett
Serving God in the community
Welcome!
As members of God's family in Radlett we seek to worship and grow together as we learn to worship and serve God and our community through Jesus Christ. We aim to be a warm, caring and supportive fellowship where all are encouraged to grow in faith, worship and service.
St John's Church was established in 1953, in a temporary building, to serve the local community, expanding in the post-War years. The temporary building came to the end of its life after 67 years and was decommissioned on 4 July 2021 in preparation for the redevelopment of the site. Worship and community events were held in a portakabin during this period. A new church was dedicated on 15 October 2023. On site there are also three flats of social housing, to be followed in 2024 by three further houses.
Currently, only special services are held at St John's; for most services in the parish, please refer to the entry for Christ Church Radlett.
Services at Christ Church are currently at 10.30am on Sundays and Wednesdays.
