The Parish of Elstree and Borehamwood Parish Lent Pilgrimage SATURDAY, APRIL 12TH Meet at St Albans Abbey Cathedral bookshop at 1.00pm for a one hour guided walking tour of the Abbey. With prayer at the shrine of St Albans, followed by a visit to the Cathedral Coffee Shop.Discover 1700 years of fascinating history. From a stunning collection of medieval wall paintings and an 11th century crossing tower, to spectacular architecture and two beautifully restored medieval shrines - discover centuries worth of historical highlights as you explore the Cathedral with an experienced Guide.
