Join us for this beautiful and popular service which marks the start of the Church’s year, as we prepare for the Christ’s arrival both at Christmas, and the end of time. This atmospheric service begins in darkness, and gradually grows in light as congregational candles are lit while the Cathedral Choir processes around the building.

The site of the Bristol Cathedral has been a place of worship for the last 900 years. Today, the Cathedral continues to be an open and welcoming space for all people to pause for thought, find beauty and peace, feel the sacred and come together as communities.
