St Margaret Church "The Welcoming Church". This friendly welcoming Parish Church is dedicated to St Margaret and is undoubtedly the oldest surviving building in the Ormesbys, but its exact date of origin is not known with any certainty. It is a growing church finding its way on how best to serve the comunity of Ormesby St Margaret, Scratby, and California.
We have traditional service from the Book of Common Prayer at 8am on fourth Sundays and more contemporary services from the book of Common Worship, at 11am each other Sunday - we use traditional hymns, contemporary music and have live musical events. On Fifth Sundays we usually worship with others in our district in another church.
Come and visit us, tell us how we might serve you. We are a Church of England church, and welcome people of any Christian denomination, any faith or no faith.
