As part of the national programme of Heritage Open Days, the church will be open from 9 am until 4:30 pm. We shall be offering tours of the church. There is an excellent display with details of the history of the church and of some of those who have been associated with it.

The first Heritage Open Day on 7 September coincides with our next Cafe at St John's (from noon). See separate entry for details of that.

Welcome to the website of St John the Baptist, Cockayne Hatley. 

We are small group of people who seek to serve God's mission both as a parish church to the village of Cockayne Hatley and increasingly as a 'thin space' for people to visit for quiet days, study days, retreat days and concerts. You can find out more about us by exploring the pages listed on the left of this webpage or using the menu button in the top right.
