On Sunday 4 May we have the second concert of the year given by Red Kite Concerts. The music is different each time but always of very high standard, with performers who enjoy an international reputation. This latest concert features the return to the church of the popular trumpeter Pete Horsfall, this time accompanied by pianist Joe Webb in an exploration of the history of jazz, with particular emphasis on the early roots of the music. All the concerts this year begin at 5 pm and last for about one hour. Tickets cost £18 (there is no charge for under-18s) and can be obtained at www.RedKiteConcerts.com (follow the link in More Info, below).

We are a small group of people who seek to serve God's mission both as a parish church to the village of Cockayne Hatley and increasingly as a 'thin space' for people to visit for quiet days, study days, retreat days and concerts. You can find out more about us by exploring the pages listed on the left of this webpage or using the menu button in the top right.
