Our Donors

The high cost of restoration work is quite beyond our resources and our ability to raise funds from parishioners and supporters, although we do have as full a programme of events as we can manage.

Thankfully, there are grant-making bodies who support us, many of whom have made multiple grants over the years.

Most recently, in 2022-23, we carried out a major programme of restoration of stonework, rebuilding the parapet above the north aisle and replacing much stonework around the west window.  The work was carried out for us by Hibbitt & Sons of Cambridge.  The major grant-awarding donors for this campaign of work were the Beds and Herts Historic Churches Trust, the Garfield Weston Foundation and the Francis Coales Charitable Trust.  We are very grateful for their support, without which the work could not have been carried out.
