View benefice homepageSt Leonard's has a new Rector - Reverend James Pitkin, who is on hand for life services and a monthly communion service and monthly family service. Our service style is traditional but relaxed and welcoming to all ages.
St Margaret's Church is ancient - 1215. It is the burial place of Florence Nightingale to whom there is a memorial in the churchyard. Many visitors with a connection to nursing come during the week to lay flowers and pay their respects, or sit on a bench to contemplate her legacy. Please sign the visitor's book in the church when you visit!
Everyone is welcome at St Margaret's inclusive and friendly services. We enjoy a traditional style of worship with our small choir leading us in hymns. There is usually a warm drink and hospitality in The Church Rooms (by the car park) after a service, please come and get to know one another better.
We look forward to meeting you!
