Memorial Service to commemorate The Little Baldon Air Crash

Please join us to remember the Servicemen who lost their lives in the Little Baldon Air Crash which occurred 60 years ago.

The crash occurred when a Handley Page Hastings C1A crashed into a field in Little Baldon, near Chiselhampton, Oxfordshire, shortly after take off from RAF Abingdon.

This resulted in the loss of 41 people (including 6 crew), making it the third worst air crash in the UK at the time.

You are welcome to honour them by laying crosses and wreaths at the Cross of Sacrifice.

A weekly Parents and Toddlers group which meets in the Church Hall on Mondays from 0900-1130hrs during term time and is facilitated by the Methodist Church in Aldershot Garrison. We always have refreshments for little ones and grown ups, along with lots of fun! There is no need to book, just turn up and join our friendly group. Events to mark the End of World War Two

The church will be celebrating the end of hostilities in 1945 and to pray for peace.
The grounds will be open for picnics from 1700, followed by Choral Evensong at 1800, which will be supported by the Band of the Royal Army Medical Services.

After the Service, please join us as we move to the Beacon Lighting which will be held in Manor Park, High Street, Aldershot.
