The Church of England has suspended all public worship so St Andrew’s Histon will no longer meet together on Sundays for services.
We are working on an act of worship to be available for Sunday on our YouTube channel or via our Facebook pages and will publish details as soon as we have them.
Pastoral Care
Our key priority at present is the pastoral care of one another and our mission to care for all in our parish. We are working with many people from our villages to ensure that everyone is able to access the support and care they need if they are self-isolating or sick.
Prayer
The Archbishops of Canterbury and York have called for a National Day of Prayer and Action this coming Mothering Sunday (22nd March).
We would like to invite those of you who are able to pray together each day at the same time, wherever we are, as a way of calling on the Lord to have mercy on his people and sharing together in fellowship. We’ll let you know more details about this shortly.
Children and Young People
We are working on ways of keeping connected with our children and young people and are looking at resources to help with worship at home as a family.
Funerals and weddings
Funerals and weddings will still take place but with immediate family only present.
