Dear Friends, I hope that you are all keeping safe as we move into a new month, a time that has always been for holidays and breaks from some of the normal routines.
I am writing this during a night when the country is being battered by storm Ciara and the winds are certainly chasing around the church I am spending the night in. It is a real privilege to serve in the night shelter tonight.
This is often a time when New Year’s resolutions are made, perhaps broken and then hopefully reinstated. It is a time when people think back and plan forward and it is a time when we look forward to spring.
