LENT COURSE

Our Lent Course focuses on the book of James. It will run every week, on Tuesdays from 11th March through to 15th April.  We lead two sessions (on Tuesdays) - at 12:00 with soup, and at 7.30 pm.

HOLY WEEK AND EASTER

Holy week is a time for contemplation, worship, celebration! We hope you can join us at St Mary Magdalene's as we come together to mark this very special time of year. 

Below is a more in  depth look at the what we will offering during this time:

Sunday 13th April, 9:30 am:  Palm Sunday Service 

Monday 14th April, 9.30 am - 2pm:  Easter Workshop - lots of activities for little ones and families throughout an extended time period for families and little ones

Tuesday 15th April, 11 am:  Eucharist Service

Tuesday 15th April:  Lent Course - Book of James. Run twice, at 12:00 (with soup) and at 7.30 pm

Wednesday 16th April, 9.15 am:  Wednesday Morning Prayer (in the Chancel)

Wednesday 16th April, 7.30 pm:  Holy Week Film Night - 'Mary' 

Thursday 17th April, 7.30 pm:   Maundy Thursday Eucharist Service with Stripping of the Altars

Friday 18th April, 2 pm:  Good Friday - The Hour at The Cross Service

Easter Sunday 20th April

5.45 am:  Easter Sunrise Agape  Service.  Join us in the Easter field, the field at the bottom of the churchyard. We watch the sunrise together then have a joyful short service out in the open air, celebrating Christ's resurrection. Join us immediately after the service for bacon sandwiches in the church. 

9:30 am:  Easter Breakfast Church. We celebrate the most wonderful day in our church calendar by enjoying breakfast and worshipping together 

11.30 am:  Eucharist Service
