Holy week is a time for contemplation, worship, celebration! We hope you can join us at St Mary Magdalene's as we come together to mark this very special time of year.

Sunday 24th March 9:30 am - Palm Sunday Service 

Monday 25th March - 7:30pm Holy Week Evening Prayer - a service of healing 

Tuesday 26th March - 11:00am Midweek Communion 

11:30am Lent Lectio Divinia 

7:30pm Holy Week Evening Prayer - Lectio Reflection 

Wednesday 27th March  - 9:15am Wednesday Morning Prayer 

7:30pm Holy Week Film Night 'The Chosen' 

Thursday 28th March - 7:30pm Maundy Thursday Communion Service and Stripping of the Altars. 

Friday 29th March 2 pm - Good Friday - The Hour at The Cross.  Join us in church at 2 pm for our hour at the cross. We look at the events of Good Friday through the eyes of St John's gospel. 

Saturday 30th 2-4 pm - Messy Easter Workshop!  A great afternoon in the church, lots of Easter making activities, an opportunity for even the youngest to get involved in the Easter celebrations. Fun, refreshments and a chance to get together and celebrate Easter. We start our afternoon by hearing the Easter story with help from Uplifted, our puppet ministry team. 

Easter Sunday 31st March- 6:30 am Easter Sunrise agape  Service.  Join us in the Easter field, the field at the bottom of the churchyard. We watch the sunrise together then have a joyful short service out in the open air, celebrating Christ's resurrection. Join us immediately after the service for bacon sandwiches in the church. 

Easter Sunday 31st March  - 9:30 am Easter Festival Communion. We celebrate the most wonderful day in our church calendar by worshipping together at our communion service.
