This service will be led by our Licensed Readers, and will follow a standard Anglican pattern for services without Holy Communion. The service in church will be followed a few minutes later by an Act of Remembrance around the War Memorial in the churchyard.

Three churches - St Nicholas Baddesley Ensor, All Saints Grendon, and St Leonards Dordon, take it in turns to offer 'Messy Church', a time for children to come together to have fun in a Christian context. This will be highly informal (indeed, messy!). It's the turn of St Nicholas' Church to host the event. Please note - this will be in the Village Hall, as our Church Hall is unusable. Please note also - adults are welcome but must be accompanied by a child, and children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

This service takes place at All Saints Grendon, NOT at St Nicholas, Baddesley. For this service, the three churches in our group come together (churches of St Nicholas Baddesley Ensor, All Saints Grendon and St Leonard Dordon). Those not wishing to receive Communion are welcome to come up for a blessing.

There will be a separate service after the Lantern Walk, this evening.

People assemble at Baddesley Ensor Social Club, in New Street, for the escorted Lantern Walk to church (about half a mile). There will be a stop partway through the walk, for the switch-on of the Christmas Lights, then the procession will walk to the church car-park for Christmas songs and carols in the open air, accompanied by Amington Band. After this, participants will be invited into church for an evening service, starting at 6 pm, and refreshments.
