Well over 100 original art-works by 21 local artists were on display in church, Saturday & Sunday 14 & 15 September, and Saturday & Sunday 21 & 22 September, in an informal exhibition. There were paintings, photographs and a craft stall. This is the third year of this very popular event.  It was partly a fund-raiser towards the restoration of the badly damaged church hall, but also a good get-together for this village and the surrounding area. Between sales of art-work, donations, and charges for refreshments, and despite some atrocious weather, we received £1290.44! We're very grateful to the artists whose work was displayed; the visitors who supported the event, many of whom bought art-work; and all who worked behind the scenes to make the exhibition possible - thank you all!
