Hodge Hill Church

Welcome to the website for Hodge Hill Church – a partnership between St Philip & St James (Church of England) and Hodge Hill United Reformed Church. We are committed to being an Inclusive Church (across differences of gender, sexuality, race, class, disability, neurodiversity and more) and to living out that commitment to God’s boundless love and justice in all that we do – including joining with all our neighbours and creature-kin in caring for the earth, our common home..

We meet at the ‘Blue Cross Church’ (242 Coleshill Road B36 8BG) every Sunday for worship (10.30am), but are also present and active in all kinds of ways in our wider neighbourhood.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Hodge Hill is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Birmingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact our Parish Safeguarding Coordinator, Mrs Elaine Roff (07923 115407) or the Rector, Revd Al Barrett (07738 119210) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor Steph Haynes (07342 993844), [email protected]. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
