Stations of the Cross are traditional Lenten devotion in which we move round the church meditating on the suffering of Jesus with readings from scripture and prayers. Fourteen pictures covering Jesus' journey from condemnation by Pilate to burial help us in our meditations. The service lasts about 40 minutes

Welcome to the ACNY page for the church of Saint Alban the Martyr — the Church of England parish church for all the people of Highgate, Birmingham.

We are an inclusive and diverse church with a wide variety of services and activities, some are traditional and some are modern and informal, all within the Affirming Anglo-Catholic tradition of the Church of England. Whether it is Sung Mass, quiet contemplation or family worship, we have something for you.

We care about our community. We work with Ark St Alban’s Academy where our vicar helps the students. We help Stanhope Wellbeing Hub, Highgate Community Support Ltd and run Highgate United Food Bank. We also welcomed people who are new to this country.
