Earth Hour

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
St Hilda's, Warley Woods
Address
Abbey Road Smethwick, B67 5NQ, United Kingdom

As an Eco Church, we believe in caring for God’s creation and standing together for the future of our planet. That’s why we’re inviting you to join us for Earth Hour – a global moment of unity where millions switch off their lights and electrical appliances to shine a spotlight on the climate crisis and nature loss.

For over 15 years, Earth Hour has been a powerful symbol of change, reminding us that small actions can make a big difference. This year, we’d love to spend an hour together sharing stories around a campfire.

We will be gathering at the back of the church. If the weather is poor, we’ll move into the vestry, which can be accessed via the church’s back door.

Can’t make it to church? On Sunday 16 March, we will be blessing and distributing candles for you to take home, so you can still take part in Earth Hour wherever you are. Whether you join us in person or from home, we hope everyone will pause for the hour and be part of this global act of care for creation.
