New members of all skill levels are warmly welcomed! Sessions are £2.50 per adult and £1.50 for under-18s, who must be accompanied by a responsible adult. From spring through autumn, we invite volunteers to help tend the church front gardens on the first Saturday of each month, weather permitting. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just curious to give it a try, you’re warmly welcome to join us for all or part of a session! Some bring their own tools, while others use those we provide at the church—either way, your help makes a difference.

Our neighbouring church, St Mary’s, Bearwood, hosts a monthly Repair Café, usually on the first Saturday of the month. Their skilled repair team is ready to help fix any items you bring, saving the environment, one repair at a time!

St John's Harborne also have a Repair Cafe, usually every second and fourth Saturday in the month. Please do check each church's website before attending in case dates and times change.

Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM)

The APCM is an annual meeting where our community gathers to hear updates across various areas of ministry, learn the latest news, and reflect on how we are progressing as a church, an organisation, and a charity. We'll also discuss plans for the year ahead and beyond.

During the meeting, votes will be held for various official church positions, where vacancies exist. Only members of the electoral roll can vote or be elected.

This year, the electoral roll is being renewed from scratch. If you would like to join for the first time or remain on it, you must complete a form (click the link below to download it). Paper copies will be available in the porch. Please return completed forms to Liz Farrier or place them in the box in the porch by Easter Sunday, 20th April.

Christian Aid Family Service

Everyone is invited to our informal service held on the second Sunday of each month! This is a wonderful opportunity for all ages to come together in a relaxed atmosphere, where we share in worship, music, and engaging activities. It's a time to connect with others, reflect, and celebrate our community.

After the service, you’re warmly invited to stay for refreshments - a wonderful chance to enjoy conversations and catch up with others in our church family.

Ascension Day Holy Communion Service

This year, it is our turn to host the service in partnership with Smethwick Old Church, and we warmly welcome you to share in this sacred occasion.

Ascension Day marks the moment, 40 days after Easter, when Jesus ascended into heaven, completing his earthly ministry and preparing the way for the Holy Spirit to come at Pentecost.
