Rooted in the ecumenical tradition of the Taizé Community in France, this service invites all to pause, reflect, and open their hearts to the presence of God. Join us for Tuesday Morning Prayer

Everyone is warmly welcome to gather with us on Tuesdays in the choir vestry (please enter through the back door). We share in Morning Prayer from Common Worship and enjoy a relaxed time for open reflection and discussion on the day’s readings, along with extemporary prayer. It’s a lovely chance to connect, reflect, and support one another in faith.

Come for a moment of peace and reflection at our church, open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm for private prayer. Whether you’re looking for a quiet space to meditate, reflect, seek solace or just want to have a look around, you are warmly welcomed to visit.

Join us for a peaceful midweek Holy Communion service. Held on most Wednesdays, though occasionally, a traditional service of Morning Prayer may be held instead. This peaceful gathering, using Common Worship, offers a time for reflection and spiritual renewal. Whether you're seeking a moment of calm or a deeper connection, you are welcome to join us.

Join us every Friday from 9:30 to 11:00 am for a delightful weekly art and nature playgroup, specially designed for families with children aged 0-5 years. Supported by Arts Council England, this is a wonderful opportunity for little ones to explore their creativity and connect with nature in a fun, nurturing environment.

Amy Hunt and Andrey Fjeldstad are both in their fourth year of study at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. The duo has been performing together since the beginning of their studies and collaborates in various ensembles, including the Notus Saxophone Quartet. Entry is free. Donations welcome. Refreshments served after the concert.

The South Birmingham Sintonia is a full sized non-professional symphony orchestra committed to music-making of the highest standard, based in Bournville, Birmingham. They perform a wide range of music including major symphonic works and concertos with professional soloists, conducted by their musical director Sabrina Ko.

Join us this Sea Sunday to honour the courageous men and women who keep our world moving. Together, let’s pray, give thanks, and raise vital funds to support seafarers facing tough and often lonely conditions. A collection will be taken for the Mission to the Seafarers, which the PCC will match, up to the total value of £500.

We invite all young people in school years 7-11 to our monthly youth group! Come along for an evening filled with food, creative activities, engaging conversations, and fun games. We meet in the hall where we explore faith together and enjoy each other’s company. All our leaders are DBS checked.

New faces are always welcome, so don’t hesitate to get in touch to learn more. We can’t wait to see you there!

From spring through autumn, we invite volunteers to help tend the church front gardens on the first Saturday of each month, weather permitting. Whether you're an experienced gardener or just curious to give it a try, you’re warmly welcome to join us for all or part of a session! Some bring their own tools, while others use those we provide at the church—either way, your help makes a difference.

Our neighbouring church, St Mary’s, Bearwood, hosts a monthly Repair Café, usually on the first Saturday of the month. Their skilled repair team is ready to help fix any items you bring, saving the environment, one repair at a time!

St John's Harborne also have a Repair Cafe, usually every second and fourth Saturday in the month. Please do check each church's website before attending in case dates and times change.

The Big Butterfly Count is a nationwide citizen science survey designed to help assess the health of our environment. Launched in 2010, it has quickly become the world’s largest butterfly survey.

After the service, all are warmly invited to spend 15 minutes helping to count butterflies in the church gardens. Alternatively, you’re very welcome to take part at home at your convenience — the event runs from 18th July to 10th August.

In partnership with our Oversight Churches we are hosting an afternoon to enable our local communities to think about death and dying. It will include opportunities to ask questions and get resources for planning ahead for ourselves and for those we care for. The day will help with both practical and emotionally support. Look out for more details soon.

Our annual opportunity to consider our call to care for animals, as part of Creationtide. Pets are welcome, and will have the opportunity to receive an individual blessing. There will also be an opportunity to remember pets who have died.
