Safeguarding

At St Hilda's, the safety and well being of children and vulnerable adults is paramount.

We are committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Co-ordinator.

If you have any safeguarding concerns about a child or a vulnerable adult, or wish to raise an issue about one of our employees or volunteers, please leave a message for our Parish Safeguarding Co-ordinator on Tel: 07946 147 703 or email: [email protected] This will be treated as confidential and someone will contact you as soon as they can.

If the situation is urgent, please dial the Police on 999 or 101 or contact either Sandwell Social Care Services on 0121 569 3100 (for children) or 0121 569 2266 (for adults) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Officer on Tel: 07342 993 844, email: [email protected].

More information is also available on the Diocese of Birmingham website. Here you can also find contact information for the Diocesan Safeguarding Team.
