There are several members stepping down from PCC this year and as a church we need some new people to join to ensure we have representation from the congregation.

PCC meets about 6 times a year and works with the vicar to share in the leadership of the parish. You don’t need to be an expert on anything, just come with a willingness to pray together, share your thoughts and work as part of a team.

An Enhanced DBS and several modules of Safeguard training will be essential for this role as well as being on the Electoral Roll.

Chat to one of the current members of the PCC (John Barber, John Fitzpatrick, Terry Daniels, Anne Harris, Rhiannon Tomkinson, Julie Batham, Ian Dickinson, Peter Stokes, James Atkinson, Elaine Carrington and Liz Farrier) or Jenni if you’d like to know more.

The electoral roll

Our electoral roll is due to be renewed this year which means we start it from scratch. If you would like to join it for the first time, or remain on it, you must fill in a form. Paper copies will be available in the porch or download the attachment. Please give completed forms to Liz Farrier, or in the box in the porch by Easter Sunday, 20th April. You need to be on the electoral roll to vote on church matters and join the PCC. Our annual parochial church meeting (APCM) will take place on Sunday 4th May at 12pm.
