Gathering at the Dorothy Parkes Centre at 10.10am for a short procession to church, where our service begins at 10.15am. We remember together Jesus's arrival into Jerusalem, and join the cries of 'Hosanna!' at the start of Holy Week.

Smethwick Old Church

Smethwick Old Church is both an historic building and a family of Christians. Built in 1732 using money left by Dorothy Parkes, our grade-two listed parish church is the oldest building in Smethwick - closely followed by The Old Chapel pub next door! We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to share in worship, growing faith and work with our local community.
