St Giles

St. Giles is an Anglican church in Rowley Regis and we are open and welcoming to anyone who would join us. We are a friendly and approachable community who are open minded and caring. We are unpretentious, warm and kind in what we do. Our building is important to us and we believe it could offer space at the heart of the community for various activities. This church is like a family and the building is our home; we want to share it! God is at the heart of all we do. And God is for everyone! We want people to come closer to God and to get to know Jesus as Saviour. We take wedding (including prayers of blessing for same sex couples) and baptism bookings in the Church Hall , Hawes Lane (opposite the Church) every Monday night between 7pm and 8pm (other than Bank Holidays), please do come along and have a friendly, informal chat with us, no obligation to make a booking.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Rowley Regis is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Birmingham’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO (Catherine Sykes or contact Revd John Bridge on 07868 308351) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (07342 993844). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
