A big thank you to John Lee who has begun the mammoth task of cutting down and shredding the holly at the front of the car park.

Former Christ Church; Church Warden Philip Leigh sadly passed away on Friday 11th March. His funeral will be taking place at Robin hood Crematorium on Tuesday 29th March at 3.30pm.

Lent is a time to come together as a church and journey, it’s not too late to take part. If you’d like to borrow the DVD speak to Rev Lydia. Lent courses are running two weekly sessions, on a Wednesday morning at 11am (after the service) at the Vicarage followed by lunch at 12.30pm. And on a Sunday afternoon 5pm, with cake. All welcome.

Church Brasses need a bit of a polish from time to time. If you have a little free time and could pop into church and do some at your convenience please speak to Joy.

Our ‘Meal Out’ at the HomeGuard club (£8.50) will take place after our AGM on Sunday 3rd April. There is a sign-up sheet on the centre noticeboard. Please sign up for meal choices too.

Thank you for all taking part in the Lent collection vote, we voted to support Christ Church Centre this year. Please collect your boxes from church today and return on Easter Day.

AGM Reports, our AGM takes place on Sunday 3rd April at 11.00am. Please do make every effort to attend, we can’t function as a church unless we do it together. There are some vacancies on the PCC we will need to fill. So please think prayerfully whether you can help. We need to appoint a new churchwarden, a safeguarding coordinator, an environment champion and two deanery synod reps. Please speak to Rev Lydia for more information.

Sunday June 19th 3-5pm we will be holding our annual Summer Fair, if you would like to have a stall or know anyone who would like one tables will be £10 each, flyers will soon be available to promote this event and please encourage friends and family to support us.

Pilates class on Thursday mornings at 9.25 are now child friendly, so anyone 6 months post partum is welcome to take part and bring along their baby/toddler. Posters for both classes with more information are displayed in the centre. Please promote this to help our Centre.

Please continue to support The Yardley Wood Food Pantry, please bring donations of food and toiletries and we will pass them on.

This month's service let’s give thanks for those who care for us, singing and praying and making flower bouquet to give to someone to show our thanks.

Service starts at 11.30am - All Families Welcome

Refreshments will be served in Christ Church Centre after the service
