Welcome to our friendly family church ; St.Bernard’s welcomes people from all Christian traditions. We hold two services each Sunday at 9am and 10.30am. 9.00am service is a sermon without hymns and a more lively musical 10.30am service where we enjoy modern and traditional hymns and worship songs ; Holy Communion is available each week, but not at each service. Please see events below for more information.
We welcome people from all church styles . We hold firm to Biblical preaching and teaching based firmly on Jesus’s commandment to “ Love the Lord your God with all your heart , and with all your soul and with all your mind . This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is this to love your neighbour as yourself “ ( Matthew 22: 37-38 ) . St. Bernard’s recognises that we are all different and unique and we are all made in God’s image ; we are all very precious in His sight . We adhere to positive and loving attitudes of diversity and inclusion of all of God’s children .
Rev Siobhan Bridge is our Priest in Charge, supported by Jan Savage, who is a reader. We love to encourage people of all ages to explore what God is calling them to do with their lives and how He is equipping them to serve our Lord and the church . We love discovering hidden God given talents and gifts and building up the church's Christian fellowship . You are very welcome to join us for Sunday Morning Praise and Worship in church . Please contact us via this page for further details .
