Vigil Eucharist on Holy Saturday

Beginning after sunset on Holy Saturday (the day before Easter Day), this is our first celebration of Jesus' Resurrection! The service begins outside with the lighting of the new Paschal candle at the holy fire, and continues with a vigil of readings from the Old Testament recalling the greater span of God's salvation of his people. We renew our baptismal vows and share in Holy Communion. An evening of solemnity and great joy!
