On Good Friday our worship is focussed on the Cross, on what Jesus did for us there. The choir sings the Passion Gospel (the account of Jesus' Crucifixion), there is the opportunity to venerate a cross in church (with a bow, a nod or a kiss), and there are solemn prayers. We receive Communion before leaving in silence, remembering before God the significance of our redemption at the Cross.
