St Faith and St Laurence Church is very pleased to announce that they have been given the Silver Eco Church Award by A Rocha UK. Eco Church is a environmental engagement scheme for churches of all denominations in England and Wales. Churches need to show how they care for creation through their worship, buildings, land, community engagement, and individual lifestyles through the Eco Church framework. There are three levels to achieve, Bronze, Silver and Gold. A big thank you to everyone who has contributed to this achievement.
At the meetings on Tuesday 30th April, David Glanvill and Corinne Treacy were elected as Churchwardens for the coming year, Lesley Arkell and Alex Robertson were elected to represent the parish on the Deanery Synod, and Malcolm Adey, Helen Setchell, Chris Stewart and John Wadman were elected to the PCC. We thank them all for their willingness to serve. There are still vacancies on the Synod and the PCC so if anyone else thinks they might like to try one of these roles, do have a word with David Parker.<br>
