About Us

We are a Christian community at the heart of Edgbaston Village, near Five Ways on the southern edge of Birmingham city centre. 

At St George's we live the good news of Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, study, hospitality and social action in our community. We are a church open to all who live, work and study in the area.

People come from all over Birmingham to worship here, though many are rooted in Edgbaston too.

We welcome everyone regardless of race, gender, ability, or sexuality and strive to be an inclusive church. Our congregation includes people of all ages, single and married people, students, working age people, the retired and families. We worship in the liberal Catholic tradition.
