The beginning of Holy Week as we follow Christ in his triumphal entry into Jerusalem and hear afresh the story of his Passion and Crucifixion. The procession assembles in the playground of Malden Parochial Primary School at 9:30am and walks to Church to join those who are waiting there. The Church will be open from 8:00am whatever the weather.

St John the Baptist, Old Malden

The ancient church of St. John the Baptist sits in the far southwestern corner of the parish of Old Malden, high above the Hogsmill River just off Church Road.  A Christian presence in this community for over a thousand years, we are a dynamic collection of people from a wide variety of backgrounds, including many different church traditions both within the Church of England and beyond.  Our worship is relaxed, traditional with music and our choral tradition a vital part.  Our theology is open and inclusive, viewing the wealth of Scripture through the lens of the love of Jesus Christ.  We seek to be a spiritual home for all ages and to nurture each individual's own unique journey of faith.  Everyone is welcome here!
