<span style="font-size: 1rem;">The congregation of Parish of Broughton Marton and Thornton warmly invite you to attend a Service of Commemoration for the Departed on </span>Sunday 31st October at 4.00pm.

<div>All Souls’ Eve is a time when the Church remembers those who we have known and loved and have departed this life. You are welcome to join us at St. Mary's Parish Church, Thornton for an hour long service. </div><div>It will be a time to reflect with sadness at the life of a loved one no longer with you, and we understand this has been difficult for some during the COVID pandemic. The short Service will also a time to reflect with hope of the life resurrected that Our Lord, Jesus Christ, promised us at His crucifixion.</div><div>During the Service you will have an opportunity to light a candle in memory of the person you have known who has died and we will read out the names of those we have been asked to remember in our prayers. If you are not able to attend and would like the name of some one who was close to you read out please PRINT it on a piece of paper and return it to the Church by Friday 28th October.</div>
