Between 5th and 13th June any member of the community is invited to take part in this national initiative to count
Our church will be taking part in a national initiative organised by 'Caring for God's Acre' and A Rocha for a week's activity in Church Yards up and down the country from the 5th - 13th June. We hope any member of the community will come along at any time and help us record what nature they find in our Church Yards, using the attached Form. The results will then be mapped on a national database so we can start to monitor our wildlife levels. We believe it is vital to explore the natural world around us, and our church yards are such a rich haven for wildlife. Protecting the environment for future generations is crucial and so it’s great to be working with the children from Thornton Primary school, who will be coming to the Church on the 9th June.
