BAPTISMS

Anyone who lives within one of our parishes is eligible to be baptised or have their children baptised. Our policy is for baptism to occur during one of our regular Sunday services. Please complete the application form, and we will contact you. A wedding is a sign of commitment for a couple, and even though it is now possible to get married in a wide range of venues, there is still something powerful and moving about getting married in a church.

If you live in Shelf or Buttershaw or have a family connection to the area, we warmly invite you to have your wedding in one of our churches.

Contact us at an early stage - we can put dates in the diary well in advance so that your special date is reserved. We will then be able to work with you to help plan a most beautiful and special day...

Although we don't like to think of it, all of us will one day find ourselves arranging a funeral service to mark the passing of human life.

Whilst you can have a perfectly good funeral without using a church, there are many good reasons to consider having this most important occasion in church.

For all sorts of practical and spiritual reasons, we encourage people in Shelf and Buttershaw to have funeral services in one of our churches.
