Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a period of 40 days (not including Sundays) leading up to Easter when Christians prepare spiritually for the Easter celebration of Jesus' resurrection. This period reflects Jesus' time in the wilderness when he was tempted by Satan. On Ash Wednesday we will have a celebration of Holy Communion and then each Wednesday in Lent we will meet for Morning Prayer, each service followed by a simple meal of soup and roll. All are welcome.
