What happens?
We worship, pray to, and learn more about God, and we usually share Communion (bread and wine).
There are always activities for children, and there is a play area for babies and toddlers.
The service last about 60 minutes.
Will I have to do anything?
Nothing is compulsory! You don’t need to join in anything unless you want to. You will be given a hymn book and service sheet so that if you want to take part, you can do.
You’re welcome to sit anywhere, and there's no dress code.
We take a collection during the service: you can give money if you want to, but don't feel embarrassed if you'd rather not.
We don’t worry about noisy children - we love having them around!
How do I get in?
There is parking on site – the entrance to the car park is up the lane just off Hebden Bridge Road. If the car park is full there's plenty more space for cars in the field. We have step free access through the main door from the car park.
Accessibility
There is room for buggies inside and a toilet and baby changing facilities in the church (through the back room towards the Tower stairs).
Hearing loop.
Space for wheelchairs.
For older people who would like to come and need assistance with transport, please contact the Vicar.
Large print words are available.
Hospitality
We serve free Fairtrade coffee and tea after the service in the Church Hall, with biscuits (and often cake!) and would love to meet you and get to know you.
