About Us

We are a friendly village Church which offers a welcome to everyone - regardless of age, gender, colour or sexuality. Our ministry is to serve the whole community, reminding ourselves that we can do nothing on our own - but only with God our Creator, Redeemer and Sustainer.

Children are welcome at all our services and at other times when they can play and read books in our children's area. 

We are a member of the God's Acre Scheme and have bird boxes scattered across the churchyard and are developing a wild flower area. People are always welcome to come and sit and enjoy either the church itself or the churchyard.

Christ Church is located in Lothersdale and is part of the United Benefice of Sutton with Cowling and Lothersdale.
