St Stephen's is a fine Gilbert Scott building, The church is near to Lewisham Railway Station and next to the Police Station in the centre of Lewisham.

St Stephen’s is firmly in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England and its life of worship and outreach is centred on the Mass and Eucharistic presence of Jesus Christ. We are a worshipping community of varying numbers. The emphasis of the church, as the congregation almost all agree, is on preaching and the Bible
