Advent Procession

Our beautiful Advent Procession begins in candlelight, and the lights are slowly raised as we hear the readings and the promise of the coming Saviour. Sing wonderful Advent hymns, and hear music from our choir. Wine will be served afterwards.

Christmas Tree Festival

Join us for a stunning display of trees decorated by local community organisations, charities and schools, with singing by Ilkley's schools and choirs, refreshments and much more. All in the beautiful St Margaret's Church.

Christingle Service

Service of Lessons and Carols

for 1 hour

Join us as we celebrate the traditional service of Lessons and Carols, with readings by representatives of local organisations, and wonderful music from our choir. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served afterwards. Don’t miss the chance to sing ‘While shepherds watched’ to the tune of ‘On Ilkla Moor baht ‘at’ in the very parish of Ilkley Moor! All are welcome.

Crib Service

The Crib Service is a family retelling of the Christmas story with carols, while we build the crib, with refreshments afterwards. Arrive early to get a seat at this very popular service. Children often like to bring a wrapped present which will be donated to a family in need. Refreshments served afterwards.

'Bethlehem' Midnight Mass

Join us as we celebrate our 'Bethlehem' Midnight Mass at 10.00 pm, just as it turns midnight in Bethlehem, and we continue to pray for peace in the land of Christ's birth. Sing the great carols, and hear music of the season from our choir. One of the most beautiful services of the year.
