Lent 2025 begins with a Service of Holy Communion at 7pm on Ash Wednesday, 5th March 2025. Please join us here at St Ambrose Church in Grindleton for this service which will include the opportunity for "Ashing", the cross is marked on our foreheads using the ashes of burnt palm crosses.

Please join us for our Sunday Service of Morning Prayer using the Common Worship Service Book.

On the fourth Sunday of the month, please join us for an evening service which may be Evensong, a traditional service of hymns, readings and prayers or Holy Communion ~ all are welcome!

Please join us for a United Service for Mothering Sunday! All three churches in the Bowland Benefice are coming together for a special service to honour, support and encourage mothers and caregivers throughout our area and beyond. The service starts at 10:30am with chance for a cuppa and a chat afterwards.

We mark Maundy Thursday with a service of Solemn Eucharist followed by the symbolic stripping of the altar at 7pm on Maundy Thursday, 17th April 2025 ~ a symbolic Act Of Worship in contrast to the joy of Easter Day.

On Good Friday we meet at Bolton By Bolwand Church at 10am for a special All Age Service and the making of the Easter Garden; please join us if you can!

A Devotional Service for Good Friday starting at 2pm at St Mary the Virgin, Gisburn when we gather for a service of prayers and bible readings to mark the last dark hour by the Cross.

Please join us for a special service of Holy Communion for Easter Day as we gather to sing "Jesus Christ Is Risen Today, Alleluia"!

THIS WEEKEND Please join us for the Open Gardens Weekend being held in Grindleton, Gisburn and Bolton By Bowland!
Maps at £7.50 per person are available from the village churches and gardens. The gardens and churches are open from 11am to 5pm on Saturday, 22nd June and 11am to 4pm on Sunday, 23rd June 2024
