Appeal for donations to support Leeds homelessness charity during Lent

Giving something up for Lent isn’t for everyone. That’s why this Lent we are inviting people to donate items to help a charity which supports people who are homeless in Leeds.

The award winning Homeless Street Angels currently provide outreach every Thursday evening on the streets of Leeds City Centre, handing out hot and cold food, clean clothes, toiletries and more. They also provide ongoing support for our guys that we have helped to rehouse.

We recently supported them with a donation of leftover food from the licensing service for our new vicar.

Donations of food as well as warm clothing will be welcomed and we have boxes to collect items at the back of church. The full list of items which the charity says would be most welcome is:

Anything you are able to donate would be really appreciated.
