The new door on the North side is now fully functioning, and will be open on Sunday mornings. Easy access from Tombland Alley for those with wheelchairs, mobility scooters or just a crutch or a stick! The door on the right as you face it from outside will be unlocked: just turn the handle. Once summer arrives we shall have both doors flung wide open to welcome you!
Work is almost complete on the tower and north porch. Installation of the doors is currently delayed, pending completion of some work on the porch stonework. There are also a few other small jobs to finish such as the rope handrail in the tower. The Dean will come to help us celebrate the completion of this project on Sunday 17 February. It is hoped that some of those associated with the project will join us, including Fr John and Jane. Drinks and nibbles afterwards.
