Thursday 8 September 2022I declare before you all that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service.Good evening,What sad news we've all received. In the midst of so much which can be so disorienting, the presence of Elizabeth II gave a kind of stability to the world that I think no one else could. We thank God for her long and illustrious reign and for her dedication and duty, and we remember her before the God from whom she drew such strength. And, of course, we pray for His Majesty the King, the Queen Consort, and the entire Royal Family as they grieve their mother and matriarch. There will naturally be many opportunities to publicly mark Queen Elizabeth's passing, and we'll be in touch with the details as soon as possible. Tomorrow morning, 9th September, at 10:00 am at St George Tombland, we will begin these by celebrating a simple requiem. Please join us if you are able.Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her.God save the King. With every blessing,Alaric
