About Us
St Helen's, Witton, also known as 'Northwich Parish Church' is built on the brow of a hill overlooking the town centre. The parish includes Rudheath.
Please be assured of a warm welcome at St Helen's. Whoever and whatever you are, St Helen's offers space to be yourself, to engage with others or simply be quiet with God. St Helen's Church members hope that you will experience something of the Peace, Joy and Love that God has for us all.
Down the centuries Northwich people have prayed here and left their mark. Sometimes it wasn't always welcome - like the person who carved their initials in the sandstone in the St Cross Chapel in 1734! But their grafitti reminds us of previous generations and the faith that was found and nurtured here.
And we have a vision for the future, too and an openness to the work of the Holy Spirit. St Helen's Church members pray that the building will continue to be a beacon on a hill, showing forth God's love, grace and forgiveness, through our worship and service.
