St Thomas Melling
Melling Church was founded by the monks of Cockersands Abbey, and a record exists that it was there before the year 1190.
The old Chapel was replaced in 1834 by the present building. The Church is dedicated to St Thomas and The Holy Rood.

Maghull: St Andrew
St Andrew’s is a Victorian church close to the A59 and Leeds/Liverpool Canal in Maghull.
Yet the real truth is that St Andrew’s is a community of Christian people living, working and caring for Maghull and beyond. This ministry dates back at least 800 years.
