This year, in conjunction with our Churches Together, brothers and sisters, we are offering three options to join in with a Lent course.

Along with St. Theresa’s, we are offering the course: ‘The Return of the Prodigal Son’ based on a book by Henri J.M. Nouwen, but at different times of the day.

Our course will be at St. James’s on the following Wednesday evenings 1st March, 8th March, 15th March, 22nd March and 29th March. Starting at 7.30p.m. each evening.
and at St.Theresa’s, in their social area, on the following Tuesdays: 28th February, 7th March, 14th March, 21st March and 28th March. Starting at 2 p.m. each afternoon. The books are quite expensive at £10 each, but you don’t need the book to enjoy the course.

Our Lady & St Nicholas

Welcome to St James the Great, Birstall and Our Lady and St Nicholas, Wanlip.

We are the Anglican Churches in the area and serve the people of Birstall and Wanlip alongside our fellow Christians, the Methodists and the Roman Catholics, confessing together our faith in God through his son Jesus Christ.

Our vision is to be: An open Christian community where people feel loved, respected and free to be fully themselves!

We look forward to your joining us for a service or an activity or a group where you will be made very welcome.

Our Lady & St Nicholas, Wanlip is open for private prayer every Wednesday afternoon between 3-4pm
