About Us
Welcome to the church of St John the Baptist, Harringworth. We welcome visitors to all our service and the church is usually open everyday. St John the Baptist, Harringworth is part of the Lyddington Benefice and a service is usually held on the first, second and fourth Sundays each month.
The Harringworth railway viaduct provides a stunning backdrop to the village. It was completed in around 1878 and its 82 arches make it the longest masonry viaduct across a valley in Britain.
Harringworth is a lively village and the church is used for community events as well as services.
The church is usually open during daylight hours.
