It was truly a privilege to have on display in the church the bible, printed in 1701, that was recently 'unearthed' from storage.  In pretty poor condition and with no-where to keep it, it was sold to a local antiquarian book collector and book conservator, who has brought it back to a 'safe' condition.  Brought to church for our special 'All Saints day' service, many of the congregation were able to see it close up after the service.  Next year there will be a talk in the church about the conservation of the bible and there will be another chance to see it - along with other books that help tell the story of this fascinating version of the bible, published during the reign of William lll.
